TRUMA  ERROR  CODE  503  or  NE315   -     ( Only  applies to    2022  models with new control panel   )

TRUMA  iNet  Panel  ( X  Panel  )   Error  code  503 / 315

Currently, the error message E503V - "FW1 Sensor-Timeout" is sporadically displayed.
This is an error in the system, which has no effect on the functions of the panel.

Truma are currently working on a solution, which will be available in one of the next update releases.
As a corrective measure, you can "clear" the error message by restarting the panel, and this way reactivate the display of the fill level.
To do this, please press both keys of the control panel simultaneously for approx. 5sec.
After the screen has turned black, restart the panel by pressing the button again.

Rules and Regulations have changed  for motorhomes .. (  these are new regulations  as of  01/05/22)
These items below must be adhered to  otherwise you could be refused your WOF/COF

  • Only the number of berths in a motorhome justifies how many seat belts  ( so 4 berth must be  4 seatbelts  minimum    )

  • Seat as you come in the cabin door to the right   ..... Now must have a hinged board  new regulation introduced after 01/05/22
to be able to change to support  cushion for rear facing option  ONLY
(  with cushion in front of  it  )  available  as an option ... enquire for price from our main service centre   .......  (as pictured  below)
  • You will also need  after 01/05/22  ...........is an insert  headrest  into the drop down bed track
available  from our service centre .. as pictured below  ( enquire for price)

And of course  if your in Auckland  we reccomend  VTNZ  Manukau .......... after these items above have been modified

With Winter  coming on it is  important  to maintain your batteries  correctly.

ALL   CI   MOTORHOMES   INCLUDE  A  STANDARD   AGM  BATTERY
( Unless you have paid for an upgrade when the motorhome was new for a Lithium Battery  )

With your motorhome   Battery  it is important to  :
*Leave the orange light on the control panel all the time
*Plug your motorhome into power at least twice a month for a couple of days at a time minimum,
otherwise you will destroy  your  Agm Battery  .

WITH  AGM  BATTERY
*Do NOT exhaust  your battery lower than  80%  otherwise you will destroy your battery life and it will never
 recharge fully  again ,
Once this happens  the operation time of  using  the  battery is  reduced  .
(  so your watching tv  with lights on and all of  sudden lights go out  -  battery has  died  )
when  this  happens  throw the  battery out  and  replace  with lithium

FOR MORE INFORMATION CLICK HERE

.

WHAT   WE  NOW   RECCOMEND    !!!
WITH   ALL  NEW  9 SPEED  FIAT DUCATO   AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE

LITHIUM BATTERY  UPGRADE

At the time of sale for your New motorhome .
you will be offered the option of a Lithium battery upgrade,

Which is a No Brainer  as soon as the vehicle arrives in the country !!!
It  will work out far  cheaper as soon as it arrives into NZ  , as modifications  are required in electrical in
workshop, and will  cost you far more if you get it fitted later  !!,
it is  also important with the new 9 speed Fiat as there is more power required to run electronics .
And you can almost Guarantee you will end up destroying an AGM battery  by exhausting it  ,
and low batt voltage will cause  electronic issues .

The  benefits  are
You will have double the  battery  power  to  one 100 amp Lithium  to  2 x  100amp  AGM Batteries
You can exhaust your lithium battery  so the lights  go out  and it can fully  recharge back to normal - (minimum 24 hours to recharge fully)
Your lithium battery life  will be up to  5x  more than a  AGM  Battery

Your  older Ci motorhome  can be upgraded to a Lithium battery  at our service centre  ... it is well worth it .

Some may be not up to the play with latest standards  , and some may be trying to clip the ticket for that extra dollar
at  your expense  while trying to get that New Wof  or  Cof

We have heard of  some  horror  stories out  there   !!!

NZTA  - STATEMENT  -  CAB CUT OUT CERTIFICATION

We have received a large number of enquiries from concerned customers regarding an NZTA directive around cab cut certifications. There have been reports regarding this in the news today, sparking an increase in concern and phone calls to our service team.

While we support the overall theme of the work and the intended safety benefits, unfortunately some of the information available on this subject has caused confusion and unnecessary concern which generally relates to horsetrucks and some motorhomes that have not been built by proffesionals.

CI   MOTORHOMES
All Ci Motorhomes comply when they come into the country  as they already have a Fase 2 sticker  on the passengers side footwell  (  issued  by the  factory in italy  )

MITSUBISHI  MOTORHOMES  - (Ex Rentals )
All our Mitsubishi  Fuso  3.9  turbo vehicles comply  and already have a LT400

Which is surrendered to the testing facility on the vehicles first entry COF.  The testing facility registers the details in the NZTA database and it becomes part of the permanent vehicle file.

MOTORHOME  NOT  BEING  USED   ???
Is your motorhome sitting round  ??
While its not being used  it is important to prolong battery life
of both the start battery and also  inhouse battery
Yes you will have a solar panel  but this is only a surface charge  on your batteries

A deep charge  is required which means  you must plug into mains power  at least  twice a month
for a couple of days at a time  ...  this  gives all your batteries a deep charge  - and long life
when batteries  fully charged  the  smartcharger in the motorhome  will switch off  .

If you dont do this  then you will have battery issues  sooner than later

Please note  :
You can  Not put a cover on your motorhome  .. No solar panel  and  it will damage Duraseal
And when parked inside a shed or under carport you will need to be plugged in to power all the time

Dont forget  to Leave  your  Control  panel left on all the time  ( so it shows the orange light )
and light in middle is plugged in charging

Fiat  Ducato  9  SPEED  AUTOMATIC   (  Start /  Stop  )

The introduction of the  smooth  Fiat Ducato
9 speed  Automatic  is  certainly  Brilliant  !!!

But it has  for the European Market  a  Start  / Stop  -
Which is ONLY  designed  for  European Market  -   NOT  NZ
( so when you stop the vehicle  with the brake  , the engine turns off
and when you release brake engine starts  and you can drive off  )
This is not only annoying  , but reduces the life of  starter motors  , battery life   ,
and  more  engine wear  in any brand of  vehicle

IMPORTANT   !!

In  New Zealand  we  Do Not  use  this ....
as soon as you start the  engine  you must  deactivate  this  as per photo

And  Then when deactivated  orange light comes up and
on the  dash a  symbol comes  up  on dash momentarily  to indicate
Start - Stop has  been deactivated  .
